Community Service
If LLAA would like to present a program at the Alabama Library Association (ALLA) annual convention April 22-25th in Birmingham, I need your proposals ASAP. Several ideas were mentioned at our Fall meeting - Free Legal Sites on the Web, Unauthorized Practice of Law, and others. If you would like to offer a proposal and/or present at the meeting, proposal are due to ALLA by the end of October. The theme is "Under One Umbrella, Alabama Libraries Come Together" and provides a nice way for LLAA to become involved on a continuing basis. Check out the ALLA Convention site.
I apologize for the short notice but I need your proposals by Monday October 30, 2007. The Executive Board will select a program to submit. Thank you!
SWALL CRUISE
As I mentioned at the meeting, the Southwestern Association of Law Libraries (SWALL) extended an invitation to all chapters to join them in celebrating their 50th Anniversary. If you would like to join in on the festivities and represent LLAA, please check out the annual meeting information.
